What will I learn at a basic level?

During our beginners classes, you'll be with a maximum of 4  to 5 other  people.We all go at a similar pace throughout the session, you will know-how to use a sewing machine on your own. We will build your skills and knowledge from the start up so you walk away with the confidence and meet other people learning the same and having fun while doing it.


Will i need to know basic skills first?

Our intermediate classes are for those that have completed any one of our beginners classes or have some basic machine knowledge. Skill level requirements are specified under each class listing. There are several options to choose from that are all designed to challenge and develop your sewing skills in different areas.


What shall I bring to my classes?

Materials and fabrics are included, although there are a few classes that require you to bring your own fabric. If so, this will be indicated under the explanation of each class with the specific measurements emailed to you upon booking. We always recommend that you bring your own domestic machines however some are available for use in the  studio.
Please just aim to arrive 10 minutes earlier so we can set you up.
Can I cancel my classes?
You may cancel up to 48 hours before the date of the booked workshop. We can re-schedule onto another workshop, up to the same value, within 6 months of the original purchase. Unfortunately, due to the limited availability of space on our workshops, we do not offer refunds. No-shows or cancellations within the 48 hour cut off may only be re-scheduled at the discretion of Glamour Icons Mini Stitches.

What happens if we cancel a class?

In the off chance we need to cancel a class, we will ensure you have a minimum of 24 hours notice. In such circumstances we can either re-book you onto the same class at a later date, hold your payment in credit towards another class or offer you a full refund.
